I am in crisis- what should I do?

Still Waters Mental Health is not a 24/7 emergency psychiatric service. For a list of crisis resources visit www.coloradocrisisservices.org or call Colorado Crisis Services (844-493-8255). In the event of an emergency, go to the nearest emergency department or call 911.

How do I schedule an appointment at Still Waters?

New and existing patients can schedule an appointment by clicking the "Schedule Now" button at the top right corner of the website, or by calling or texting our office number at 720-263-2528.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

How can I get my prescription refill?

Please send a prescription refill request in your patient portal. You may also call

720-263-2528 to request a refill on your prescription. Please give at least 72 hours notice for your refill. If your pharmacy does not have your medication, you can call to pharmacies in your area and notify us where you would like a new prescription sent. Please note that Prior Authorizations may take 3-4 days to complete. Thank you for your patience as we work on your medication needs.

I think I need a medication dose change, what can I do?

All prescription changes require an appointment. Please schedule by booking online or calling the office at 720-263-2528 to schedule a follow up with your provider.

Do you prescribe controlled substances?

We conservatively prescribe controlled substances when clinically indicated. Every patient is asked to sign our controlled substance policy and is required to report all controlled substances prescribed. Patients that are prescribed controlled substances will be required to be seen every 3 months at a minimum, and will intermittently need to be seen in person for vitals.
